It's Fair Time! Join us at the Verde Valley Fair May 2nd through the 6th for an Arizona Treasure! The fair is truly a community event that combines traditional and modern elements. Volunteers are a major part of why we are successful. This year the fair is dedicated to Dave Williams (read more) Enjoy five days and nights of non-stop fun and entertainment! This year's treasure chest is overflowing with things to do. The Grand Canyon Rodeo brings
adrenaline pumping Rodeo action to the fair on Friday and Saturday night
at 7pm. Events include your favorite rough stock action; Bareback,
Saddle Broncs and of course Bull Riding. With stock provided by Slash M
Rodeo, you and the cowboys are in for a ride. With the rodeo admission
included in fair admission every one will be a winner.
Music will fill the air all week! One night only see

Sebastian in concert Thursday at 7:30pm. Gwen, will step away from her
tour with Blake Shelton to bring a rare treat to Cottonwood. Gwen
recently joined Blake Shelton’s sold out “WELL LIT & AMPLIFIED” tour
after her stellar performance on “The Voice.” Prior to leaving the Voice
Sebastian was named by Entertainment Weekly as the #4 artist to watch
this season. Favorite George Johnson will present his musical styling each day at the food court. Thursday we'll kick up the beat! California based Street Drum Corp will bang their way into town for their 3 day Verde Valley Debut.
Touring country hit group, the Doo-Wah Riders, will take to the stage following local favorite, Aces & Eights, on Friday and Saturday Nights. The family entertainment lineup
is sure to please everyone! The treasure quest Daily livestock shows will fill
the barns with animals including pigs, beef, sheep, goats, rabbits
pigeons and poultry. The fair is the culmination of months of hard work
for valley
Of course thrill seekers will find a treasure trove of riches in the carnival and games. From the traditional kids rides like beautiful classic carousel and ferris wheel to the breath taking tilt a whirl, zipper, gravitron and Pharaoh's Furry you will be able to fill your treasure chest with fun! Traditionalists will want to stroll through the Gyberg Building to view the hundreds of items entered in competition. See what your neighbors have been working on all year, they've entered to win a blue ribbon or best of show. Entries include jams, jellies, quilts, crafts and more. You'll also see the artistic work submitted by our area youth. In the Fine art building you'll see some of the best work by area artists. Don't miss this treasure.
